This week for maths we had to buddy up with a person and share what we have learnt during the past 3 weeks.
My buddy was Paul. Paul gave me some information about time. The units of time are 1 minute(60 seconds), 1 hour (60 minutes) , 24 hours (1 day) 52 weeks (365 days/1 year) and 1 decade (10 years). On a clock the thin, long hand counts the seconds and the little hand counts the hours.
My other buddy was Ariana. The information I learnt was about geometry. Geometry shapes are 2d and 3d. 2d stands for 2 dimensional, for example a square. 3d stands for 3 dimensional, for example a cube. 3d means width, length and height. The 3 in 3d represents the measurements in the shape. 2d means height and width, the 2 represents the measurements in the shape.
I like teaching others new information that they never learnt before. I was a good student too.
