Commenting/ Carson's blog post

For commenting I decided to comment Carson's blogpost about the legend of Rahi and Te ara (reading). The dialogic question I asked was: Have you played the game Kia o Rahi?
I asked this question because the game is based of the book. The one thing I liked about the blog post is the way he summarised it.

For commenting I commented on Kruse's blog post about swimming. I first commented my thoughts on the blog post. Then I thought of 2 dialogic questions that I think he will reply to.

This week we are learning how to comment and get a conversation going. 

After that we use  a google doc about to write both opened and closed.

Then we had to create a response to room 4 in a group of 3. 

Our response was mostly related to the bacteria:

Kia Ora room 4, we loved your questions.

We would like to do the bread experiment.

The dirtiest surface I think is our Chromebooks because we touch other surfaces then after that we touch our Chromebook.

For commenting I commented on Viliam's blog post about keywords. I think his blog post could help some people who don't understand what a keyword is.

How to make a password

LI: Learning how to make a password

A password is basically like a lock to your device. Creating is very easy. Firstly you can create a made-up password or and a difficult one like a acronym password.The easiest way to create a password is making up a word for your password. Before you just type word, you have to make sure it's difficult to be able to guess. So make sure to add some lower and upper case letters,numbers and symbol (like punctuation marks). Lastly you can involve letters and number or symbols that look the same.

LI: To Apply Print design rules

First we had to memorise the four print design rules.We had to create a poster on the 6 simple machine we learnt which were: Incline plane,Archimedes screw,wedge,lever,wheel and axle and pulley. poster was about the incline plane. We had to put down the information and after that we had to apply the print design rules.

 We did print design rules again but we had to fix a poster.
 What we had to fix on each slide using print design rules:

• First slide (fix colour)
• Second slide (fix the text)
• Third slide (fix the layout)
• Last slide ( fix the composition)

There were 4 slide is total we had to fix. The first slide we had to fix the colour because it will look ugly. The next slide we had to fix the text,because if words contrast of the colour of the background it is very hard to be able to see. The third slide we had to fix the layout because the formation will look ugly and weird. The last slide we had to fix the composition the space would look ugly  and you have not taken up the whole space.

For cybersmart we are learning about print design rules. The print design rules are Colour, Layout, Composition and Text. This are words that can help your work look good.
We were using a google slide to order an learn and put the good and bad print design rules slide where they belong on  Colour, Layout, Composition and Text because it depends on how it looks.

LI. To use keywords for better searching

For cyber smart we learnt how to smart search by using keywords.
For our topic we had to Netball. We had to search different websites
To find information that answers these questions.
What do the positions do?How many positions are they and what is the
highest win percentage team?
After finding the information that is right we had to explain it.
We used a google presentation to write this.

LI:To organise our files correctly

For cybersmart we had to organise our Google drives to save time ,such as wasting time clicking and putting your work into your folder 1 at a time. We had to organise our drives because through out the years and put some more work. I used 1 method Ctrl and click to put my work in my files faster.

LI. To learn to copyright and fair use a image
For cyber smart the LS1 Year 5's learnt how to attribute a image.We learnt 2 new words fair use and copy right. Fair use is when you have permission to able to use that object or image .
Copy right is when you copy a image on your document and you don't ask for permission.

LI. to make a collaborating meme
What is collaborating? it is getting into a group and achieving something.
We learnt collaborating by watching Farzana and Bell demonstration about  collaborating.
For cyber smart we had to make a meme showing collaborating. First we had to buddy up with someone and my buddy was Mote. The tools that we use to make this meme was on a google draw.
We did took a photo of our self's and insert word art to make the words.
