Expanding horzion

LI: To learn adding in parts and place value adding. .
Mr Wong's maths groups had made a chart for adding in parts and place value addition. Mr Wong had linked us into a PDF which had four different problems in it. We had to work out these problems using these strategies.
What is Place Value Addition? - Place value addition is when you have big or small amount numbers for example 3285 + 3728. You first add the ones up to the biggest place value unit in the number. The biggest place value unit is thousands.
What is adding in parts? - Adding in parts is also  when you have numbers, you need to try find teh answer by making tidy/super tidy numbers. ( A tidy/super tidy number is numbers ending with 0. A super tidy number is a number that has more than 2-3 0's.). You need to add the numbers that you think is the most tidiest numbers.

For reading we had to make an ad about the first Apple computer. First we had to buddy up with someone. I buddy up with Mote for this project. We first had to make an DLO on definitions.
She gave us someone words and we had to give are idea on what we think the definitions means and the real definition.

The 2nd DLO was an then and now DLO. It was basically a comparing the first ever computers and the fascinating computers we have today. We had to put as many information in the DLO . like how much it cost, what they look like and more.

Lastly we had to make an ad about the first ever Apple computer (Apple-1).
It was a quiet hard DLO to finish but it was easy. The ad explains about the cost, the new updates on the computer. It was a fun project. and I'm looking forward to do something the same like this in the future.
