Inter school touch rugby tournament

On Wednesday some people from LS1 and LS2 went to Dunkirk Reserve for touch rugby tournament. The compeion was spilt into Y5, Y6, Y7 and Y8 different year groups.

I played in the year 5 team. Our first game was against Sylvia Park primary school team 1,  we lost by 5 nil. We realised that we were bunching up where dummy-half played the ball and we didn't sub when we were tired.

Our second game was against St Patrick, we had a draw and the score was 1 to 1 . In this game we improved our defence and our offence.

Our third game was against Sylvia Park primary school team 2, we had draw and the score was 2 to 2. Our defence was starting to become poor, we left wide open gaps for them to run through.

Our final game was against stone fields,we lot by 1 point. The score was 3 to 2, we were starting to get tired and sub every 5 minutes.

This tournament was really enjoyable and intense. Testing my ability against others taught me what to practise more and what to do more.
