Identify direct and reported speech
What is direct and reported speech?
Direct speech is a sentence that uses the exact words that someone has said and it also contains quotation marks ("").
Reported speech is telling somebody what another has said.
If someone understands the difference between direct and reported speech they would know if someone is talking to another or if someone is telling what someone else has said.
