LI. Comment on someone blog post
I commented on Texas's blog . I commented on his Kiwi can blog post and his blog post doesn't make any sense also he has many spelling mistakes. The good thing is that he improved in his blog post a little bit but it is good that he is learning after a mistake.

Basic facts
LI. To learn basic facts
In basic facts I did numbers and up to 5. I did addition and subtraction numbers up to 5 is well.
It was easy to move to each basic facts box and answer it in addition. In subtraction I was a little slow to move to another basic facts box but it was fun.

To make a recount better
LI. changing a recount to make it better
In writing we got into partners and make a recount about Kiwi can ,Kiwi sport and Music.
I chose to write about Kiwi can. Then we shared each others recount and we had to add words in your partners google doc. The words that are highlighted are the words my partner edit. My partner has 49 points and I had 17 points because I worked with one of the good writers in the class.

SSR Selfie
LI: to summarise and retell a text.
For SSR selfie a wrote about this book called famous places of the world. This book talks about the most magnificent places in the world that you can visit. 1 famous place to visit is in Rio Brazil and this statue is called the statue of Christ. The outstretched arms, together with the body of the statue makes an cross.
Poetry
LI. To perform and share our poems
In inquiry we had to write a type of poem and we had to perform the poem that we wrote about.
I wrote a diamante poem by watching a video about diamante poems. A diamante poem is a poem that is shape like a diamond and in the poem it only describes what the it talks about.
We had to chose what feeling to write about in your poem. I chose fear because it was a easy word to talk about.My poem was an diamante poem talking about fear. I use an google doc to make this diamante poem. This poem describes what fear means.
Then we had to share our poems and what emotions we are talking about. When your are finish reading your poem you walk to the mat and sit down waiting for another person to perform next.

Music
LI, To play the chords on ukulele and keyboards
In music our music session we learnt how to play the chords and notes on the ukulele, keyboard and xylophone. We practised the chords G,C,A,F and others.
We played songs like, one call away and shotgun and all of us played together to make the music sound good. It was easier using the xylophone because I could see the chords. We also got to go out side and have some free time and practise the chords on a different songs using the ukulele.
In the song if we also see a different chord above the lyrics we have to switch to a different type of chord during a song we had to switch to another key. Through out the session it was a lot of fun and amazing.

Statistics
LI: The popular are in the class or school using statistics.
Statistics means gathering information to answer an of question. In our maths groups we had make a survey showing different areas that you would like to sit . You can fill out this google form by picking an area you like to sit and rest. We used a google draw to put in the school areas and we used Google Forms to make the survey.
Kiwi Can
LI. Learning about the new topic friendship
This interesting session of Kiwi Can we learnt about a word friendship. We turn to the person next us and shared our ideas what friendship means. We also have a new Kiwi Can teacher named Mr H
FRIENDSHIP MEANS ?
Friendship means encourage others and making someone important to you as a person.
LAST MAN STANDING
In this game Mr Shawn calls out different peoples name and the person that is called has to tag all the others people that are moving like slow motion and others ways to move.
SECRET CARDS
In this game you get split into 4 groups and you get a miniature piece of paper that has a secret and we have talk to each other if it is a good secret and a bad secret.
Lastly we played a game of GKQ. This session was an fantastic session of Kiwi Can. The games were quiet challenging but it was a lot of fun.

Summarising
LI. Using key words to write a summary
Summarising is using words to make a sentence. I read a book called our bodies,we had to use the keywords in the sentence and make a summary, using the keywords. We also had to show the page we got the information from or the keywords on the page.
We had to fill in each grid with the information that we learnt from the book page. We had to talk about each part in our body and our organs that help us talk and other things. We have all sorts of parts that are in our body that helps us move around.
WHY DO WE HAVE BONES
We have bones to help us stand, pull, hold, and feel but if we didn't have bones we will be flat as a pancake. Did you know we have 200 bones in our bodies or more. We have long bones in our legs and small bones in our hands and fingers. That is why our bodies are important.

Messed up recount
LI: To identify different recounts.
This week for writing we had make a punctuation poster of punctuation we used in a recount. We had a goggle drawing with a messed up recount that we had to do in our writing groups. And then we had to take a paragraph from the messed up recount and add interesting words in it. Including adjectives, feelings and others.

LI. Shifting numbers by using multiplication
I made this grid by using google sheets so I could place my tens, one hundred
and one thousand.
I made a grid showing place value. I had to pick a number and shift

KI O Rahi
LI. Playing the real game of Ki O Rahi
This week for Ki O Rahi is our final session of kiwi sport. We applied our learning to play the real game of Ki O Rahi.
MY TEAM
My team was taniwha and we had to stand Te au and I had to pass the ball to the team and
score the ki at the tupo to win 1 point and my team had rip the ripper tags of and defend Te Au so that kioma does not score a point.
KIOMA TEAM
The kioma team had to stay in Te roto and wait for the kaitiaki to throw the at the kioma team and the kioma team had to touch 1 po or 2 then score the ball in Te Au while my team and I are defending
Te ao and trying to rip the ripper tags of.
THE RIPPER TAGS
When you run with ki and team taniwha rips 1 tag of you have to pass it to your team and if the rip both tags of the have to hand the ki over.

SSR Selfie

This week for SSR Selfie I wrote about this book called SUPERSONIC JETS.
This book is about supersonic jets and how fast jets to go in the air. One thing I learnt is that some jet wings are often made of a strong material like titanium and they can travel in the air 1,225 per hour

Score the ball
LI.To make a game
For inquiry we made are own game for other people to play.
This game is called score the ball. In this game there are two teams, attacking team and catching team. The catching team will have a goalkeeper. The attacking team has to score a goal to get a point. Also when the goalkeeper throws the ball to the catching team every 3 times that is one point.

Kiwi Can
LI. Learning about corporation and positive communication
CORPORATION
This week for Kiwi Can we learnt about corporation, and we shared our ideas and what we think it means. Then we got into groups of four and we had to go with our group and sit at a corner. So we played a game called Command is where 1 person from each group has to go to Mrs Mat and listen to her instruction and then tell your team the instruction.
WHAT CORPORATION MEANS ?
Corporation means because take part of a game, teamwork,communicate with each other so you get it right,and helping your team.
OPPOSITE
We also played this game called Opposite. When Mrs Paige says move forward you have to move back and when shes says back you have to move forward, and also when she says move right you have to move to the left and when she says move to the left you have to move to the right.
