LI:To measure length and calculate the primeter and area.

We first learnt to measure a object or other things.Next we had to find out what the area and primeter is.The area is the inside space and the primete is the outside of the object or shape.
We had to measure to know the right measurement is. After that we had to do art.
For art I did a geometric landscape.We first had to do a practise and after that we had to do the real deal.

Inquiry | Archimedes Screw

LI: To learn about the Archimedes screw

For inquiry we learnt about the simple machine called a Archimedes screw.
What is a Archimedes Screw?  It's a screw which takes water to a higher surface up hill.
First we watched a video on how it works.Next we were given the real deal we had to attempt make it and make it work. Then we had to create a poster talking about the Archimedes screw.
 

Writing | Advertising 2.0

LI: To learn about persuasive tools in advertising

For writing we are still focusing on advertising.We are learning about celebrity endorsements, slogans,mascots adverts and reality and more.  What is a mascot(a character that is found on ads,food products and more).We also talked about if celebrity's can make people buy the product.Lastly slogans,we had to find as much slogans as possible, on the last slide we had to create our slogan for our school.

LI: To Apply Print design rules

First we had to memorise the four print design rules.We had to create a poster on the 6 simple machine we learnt which were: Incline plane,Archimedes screw,wedge,lever,wheel and axle and pulley. poster was about the incline plane. We had to put down the information and after that we had to apply the print design rules.

Kiwi Can

LI:  To learn overcome a challenge

For Kiwi Can we learnt to overcome challenges which you find difficult.Overcoming challenges is what we call resilience.What does resilience mean? (It means coping with challenges and bouncing back).To overcome a challenge we were given a challenge. The challenge involved odd looking shapes. The challenge was to create a cross using the odd looking shapes. My group unfortunately couldn't create the cross.After that hard work we were given the correct way and it looked interesting.
The most cool thing I learnt to do is never give up no madder what.

LI: To talk about your book

For SSR Selfie my book is called the super body fun fair.This book is about a young kid named billy go to theme park and the theme is about a human body.When I mean the human body I mean like organs and body parts .Well a man named Great bonzo explains though out the book talks about the body parts and how they work. An example of what the Great bonzo explains : without our bony skeleton we would of been a flat pancake.

Reading | Who questions

LI: To answer who questions.

For reading we learnt to answer who questions.We learnt to answer different kinds of who questions by a task given called "Who questions". In the task we were given 3 different who questions.
On our last slide we had to create our own.  End phrases that we learnt: Es, This ending phrase represents what happens most of he time. Ing, This ending phrases represents something that is happening right now. The last ending phrase is will, will represents what will happen in the future.I used a Google presentation to do this task.I found who questions quite fun and I can't wait to do more who questions in the future.
