LI. to write an explanation
For writing we had to write explanation about anything. I chose to write about why animals migrate.
But first we had to create a plan. In the plan we had to put as much information as we can .
A explanation is a statement telling you how and why. 1 thing a animal migrates because of hunger, breeding conditions.
Retelling
LI. To retell a story
For reading we did a retelling task on a fiction book. What is retelling? it is telling something over and over again. First we had to watch the video of the book and understand it. The first slide we had to set the order with these words begging, middle, end, characters and setting. For the rest of the task we had to retell the story in the order begging, middle, end, characters and setting .
Retelling was fantastic I can't wait to do more retelling.

For this weeks topic: Responsibility
ENERGISER: Count to 21
ACTIVITY: 3 Goal setting
Three things we can strive to complete by the end of the term.
- My first goal was to get 100% on the must task list by focusing on my work
- My second goal was to learn heaps of new information by listening to my teachers carefully.
- My final goal was to get to school on time everyday by waking up early.
To follow through with what we say is to actually do it. We can show this by being
responsible at home and at school, this is shown by doing:
- Shelves
- pack up/clean up
- The windows
OUR NEW PHRASE: KIWI CAN SAYS, RESPONSIBLE IS WHAT I AM, AND THAT'S THE WAY OF KIWI CAN.
