Music

LI. To learn how to play the ukulele

In our lesson for Music we learnt how to play the ukulele , and play the notes and chords F,C,G and more. The song we played one call away and other songs. It was hard switching to notes and chords, and it was a lot of fun. We also got some free time to go outside and practise.

This week for SSR Selfie I wrote about this book called Le QUESNOY. This book is about how the New Zealand saved a little town called Le QUESNOY and how New Zealand help defend northern France against Germany.

How to tell the time

LI.How to tell the time.
For maths we made a poster about how to tell the time. I did a poster about 7:49 on an analogue clock. We explain the minute hand the hour hand and why it is that time.We also did some challenges about telling the time quickly and more. 


Actions and Factors

LI. Identify actions and factors
For Inquiry we learnt about actions and emotions. For this we made a T poster about good teammates and bad teammates do and ranked it 1 to 12.  Lastly we played some games to see if we were a good team or a bad team.

How to write a interesting sentence


LI. How to write a interesting sentence.
In our group we learnt how to make a interesting sentence.
This week we had to write a boring sentence and build it up to make a interesting sentence.
The colour words a the words that have added into the sentence to make the sentence better.
The red means adjective, the orange means when, green means where, blue means how and pink means why.

Ki O Rahi

LI. To learn the role kioma .

In our session of Ki O Rahi we learnt about the kioma role. We played 3 activities. The 3 activities were save Te ara, Golden child, and  Ki O Rahi.

KIOMA ROLE
1 member of kioma is a kicker that has to stand in Te Marama, and they have to
kick to the kaitiaki . If the ki rolls the taniwha get's it. If the
 ki is dropped taniwha get's it. If kaitiaki catches the ki they have to throw it to kioma in Te Ao.
Kaitiaki enter and exit pawero through Te ara.

PRAISE
This lesson for Kiwi Can we learnt about praise, we disgust about what we
 think praise means and it is linked to our theme positive relationship and our topic positive communication. We played this game called hand soccer to show what praise is, encouraging others, cheering your team on , and teamwork.
