LI: To Communicate positively
For kiwi can this week we are learning about Positive communication. What is Positive Communication? Positive communication is communicating with respect and manners.
Firstly we got into our energiser, it was called flip the cone. In this game there are 2 teams and there are multiple cones. In the 1st team you have to make the cone facing the ground. In the second team you have to make the cone face upside down.
Then we jumped into our activity called street fighter. in this game there are numbers up to 1,2,3,4,5.
Number 1 is a quick jab,the number 2 is the jab and a cross, the number 3 is a kick. Number 4 is a uppercut in mid-air while turning and lastly number 5 which is Ryu from street fighter move called Shinku Hadoken. You versus against a partner, who ever does faster they win. It was a amazing learning about communicating positively.
I am a Year 7 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Mrs Anderson and Mrs Fisi'iahi.

Rippa chaotic rugby
LI:To learn and play rippa rugby
For Kiwi sport we played rippa rugby across the road at Dunkirk park with the Auckland Marist rugby team. First we had to get warmed up and get the blood flowing. For our warm up we had to run any direction. There are four directions in this game which are North,South,East and West. Then we worked on some techniques like passing the ball.
Then we played a one game of rippa rugby. The team were team red and the other team was team green. I was in team red. It was really hot and exhausting which made it kind of hard to catch energy.
The green team started of with a weeping 2 tries. The red team (my team) stepped it up . Then we the red team started to pass the ball which started to make us successful. It was such a great offer having the opportunity to learn and play with the Auckland Marist team.

For kiwi can we learnt about giving things, like a challenge a go. Then we jump into our energiser which was called the magic word . So in this energiser our kiwi can leaders have to create a sentence ,with one important word which is the magic word. There is a cone between you and your partner, you have to try and get the cone first before your partner. All else you have to do a punishment which is a push-up or a star jump.
Then we talked about giving thing a go, like having the confidence to do a challenge. Then we did our activity. Our activity was where we had to act word which our Kiwi can leaders say. We had to buddy-up with someone to see was the better actor.Lastly we did some like GKQ. Kiwi can session was amazing and I hope it's more fun next session.

LI: To create a 100's board using a object
For maths we were given pieces of paper which looked like Tetris pieces and a grid. It was a puzzle which we had to solve and what it means. The paper had different zodiac signs. When trying to solve the puzzle, we were given multiple clues. Later on we solved the puzzle, now we had to find out what it means. We came up with numerous ideas which were wrong. Then we found out it was a 100's board.
After that we had to create a 100's board on a google drawing, using an object like emoji's.
Next we had to make different pieces on a grid which we created. The we had to colour the pieces and put in the emoji of our object which was vehicles. In the little we placed different which were the numbers in each square of the grid. Then we had to separate each piece to see of you can solve it.

What is a digital self portrait? A digital self portrait is a digital piece of art of yourself. We had 2 options to create our digital self portrait. The first way of creating our self portrait was using a tool on a google draw, called the polyline. The second way of creating our self portrait was where we use different geometric shapes to create ourselves. I did the first way. I had to make sure everything was spot on and looked exactly like me.

Crazy cricket Chaos
LI: To Develop Fundamental movements in cricket
We did our first session of cricket with Brian from HPCC.
I did a session on a ball at a set of stumps. We also did an activity where we had to hit the 2 balls off cones as far as we could. Lastly we did a catching drill with 2 balls in a big circle. It was quite difficult because there is sometimes where he looks at you and passed to someone else, which confused me
I want to work on hitting the ball more to a much longer distance.

How to make a password
LI: Learning how to make a password
A password is basically like a lock to your device. Creating is very easy. Firstly you can create a made-up password or and a difficult one like a acronym password. The easiest way to create a password is making up a word for your password. Before you just type word, you have to make sure it's difficult to be able to guess. So make sure to add some lower and upper case letters, numbers and symbol (like punctuation marks). Lastly you can involve letters and number or symbols that look the same.
